  1. Dr. Benner, thank you for providing this overview clip of the Univ. Penn curriculum transformation. As you mentioned about science and teaching science, I am interested to learn about the science behind nursing curriculum. Does the NCLEX passing performance reflect back on how a nursing curriculum perform too? Could you direct me to some resources to understand the science (not the design) behind nursing curriculum?

  3. Dr Benner – this is interesting timing, since many schools and colleges of nursing are in the process of curriculum revision, including ours at the University of West Georgia. We have developed a smooth, accelerated process using curriculum mapping and free software and hope to spread the word about this process and its effectiveness. Thank you.
